The demonstrators took to the principal streets of Sunyani in the Bono Region through the Municipal Assembly to the Bono Regional House of Chiefs where they presented their petition meant for the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to the president of the Bono Regional House of Chiefs.

Presenting the petition on behalf of the group, the convener, Ransford Antwi said that Sunyani is crawling in terms of infrastructural development hence the demonstration to send a word of caution to government and all stakeholders to do the needful.

According to him, government did not include Sunyani in the 2022 budget statement, a situation he described as disturbing and unfortunate.
