Lawyer of Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo, Andrew Vortia has declared that he is a very happy man after an appeal court reversed her prison sentence thus setting her free.
Speaking with Angel news after three member panel of the Court of Appeal reversed the decision of custodial sentence to 12,000 fine, the excited lawyer promised to caution his client immediately she comes out of prison.
The presiding judge, His Lorship Anthony Kwofie, said that he does not want to hear the name celebrity and would have asked Poloo what came over her to post her nudity on social media and how she felt after posting it.
According to the Appeal’s Court Judge, the trial court was right and did not err by sentencing Akuapem Poloo, however, he believes it is right they consider as the Attorney General does not oppose to the appeal.
Andrew Vortia thus declared that he sees the change in the judgment as his Christmas gift from the Judges.
Speaking to Angel news, brother and manger of Rosemond expressed their happiness and pleaded with all those who call themselves as celebrities to still support and believe in Poloo and also learn from the ‘hell’ Poloo has gone through.
