Ghana Police to begin training of new recruits effective January 14

The Ghana Police Service has announced the commencement of its 2021 police recruitment training starting Friday, January 14, 2022.

According to the service, all successful applicants are to report at the various training schools across the country.

In a Monday, January 10, 2022 statement, the GPS stated that “the Ghana Police Service commences its 2021 Recruitment training for successful applicants on Friday, January 14, 2022. All successful applicants are reporting at the various training schools across the country as indicated in their appointment letters”.

The police further disclosed that the few who failed the medical examination have been informed and a medical team has been assigned to support and advise them.

The Director-General of Public Affairs, ACP Kwesi Ofori, who signed the statement  urged the general public to be cautious of fraudsters who are circulating false information in an attempt to defraud innocent applicants.

ACP Kwesi Ofori further directed that anyone who has been approached by these fraudsters should report to the nearest Police station for assistance.

“We wish all successful applicants the best in their training”, the statement added.

The service directed successful applicants to visit the recruitment portal to print their medical examination and interview chits for further details.
