The Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri Counstituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has stated that the likelihood partnership between Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremateng as Presidential candidates is high.

According to him, it a sure bet for the pair of the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the Trade Minister, Alan Kyeremateng, as Presidential candidates going into the 2024 general election.

The lawmaker who doubles as the Majority Chief Whip in Parliament made the statement on his official twitter handle.

In his view, this is the best bet for the governing party to continue staying in power in 2024 and beyond.

“Been advocating for this ‘heavenly’ pair for a while, I am pretty sure it shall crystalize eventually… Lets give it a deeper reflection. It’s our surest bet, patriots!”, Annoh-Dompreh tweeted.

Though, this is the opinion of the MP, the NPP is expected to hold a primaries to enable them elect a presidential candidate to lead the party in the forthcoming election as President Akufo-Addo’s term in office expires in 2024.

Meanwhlie, Dr. Bawumia and Mr. Kyerematen have not officially declared their stance to contest for the flagbearship position despite people tipping them for the position.
