Addressing the media, the District Police Commander for Odumase, Superintendent Doris Grant, stated that “I had information that there was a report from Akro that some two guys came to the school and they are thieves. My men responded and came here and saw that the men had been lynched so I gave directives that they should be taken to the hospital – St. Martin’s. They went but unfortunately one died”.
