The Founder and Leader of the Lord’s Parliament Chapel, Francis Amoako Atta has admonished Ghanaians to be committed to praying in the coming days.

The advice stems from the recent explosions among other natural disasters Ghana and parts of the African content have experienced in the spate of two weeks.

On Thursday, January 20, 2022, an explosion in the Appiatse Community, a suburb of Bogoso in the Western Region saw the massive destruction of properties with 13 lives lost and several others injured.

Speaking on the incident on the Anopa Bofoↄ show on January 25, 2022, with Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, Prophet Amoako Atta stressed that it was part of the orchestration of demons against Ghana especially for which reason the countrymen must pray to avert further occurrences.

It would be recalled that the Prophet had portended that such an incident was forthcoming when he was speaking to his congregation on January 16, 2022.

“I saw fire downpouring like rain and I asked [the spirit] if it was water but I was told that it was the fire. The extent of the fire outbreak in Ghana and Africa was like rainwater. It has started in the spiritual realm already, looking for an opportunity to manifest”, the clergyman said to his congregation on Sunday.

On the Anopa Bofoↄ morning show two days after, he stressed the same warning the public to pray to parry the spiritual attacks on the country.

“We need to take them [the fire demon] on,” he said in another interview with Kofi Adoma Nwanwani.

“Let us rise up as a nation and protect the country. If we protect the nation, we will be at peace with ourselves. The explosion didn’t recognise the different political party sympathizers.” He added.

Meanwhile, the Government has set up a fund called the Appiatse support fund to raise funds to among others, support the victims of the incident and reconstruct the community which was brought down by the explosion.
