SWAG Boss gets appointment at Ghana Airports Company Limited

The President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Kwabena Yeboah has been appointed a Board member of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL).

The veteran sports journalist was sworn into office on Thursday January 27, 2022 alongside Kojo Egyir Danso by deputy Minister for Transport, Alhassan Tampuli.

The inclusion of the two on the board now constitute a nine-member headed by Metro TV’s Good Evening Ghana host, Paul Adom Otchere.

The rest are; Francis Kofi Nunoo, Gervase Winaa, Yaw Kwakwa, Teye Adjirackor, Kwabena Mantey Jectey Nyarko and Philomina Sam.

In a statement dated January 14, 2022, and signed by the Chief of Staff Akosu Frema Osei-Opare said; “kindly be informed that Mr. Kwadwo Egyir-Danso and Mr. Kwabena Yeboah have been nominated as Members of the Board of Directors of Ghana Airports Company Limited in addition to the members that were listed in our previous letter.”

The Board Chairman Paul Adom Otchere after the swearing-in, welcome the addition of the two as “delightful since they come on-board with vast experience .”
