Ghanaian actress cum movie producer, Yvonne Nelson, says marriage is not a do-or-die affair for her.

The ‘Princess Tyra’ actress, speaking on Angel Drive on Wednesday, February 2, 2022,  indicated that the subject of marriage is not a big deal for her.

Making the revelation on the ’30 questions under 30 minutes’ segment, where celebrities are made to answer 30 questions within 30 minutes by the host, Quophi Okyeame, she said “kids are most important and she will not feel pressured by society to get married.

According to her marriage “is not a do or die affair and marriage is not something I will cry and die for.”

Her answer was in response to a question posed about marrying her ex-boyfriend or staying with a corpse for 48 hours.

The actress disclosed that on her 30th birthday she had a ring from her partner but chose to turn it down. She explained that she does not want to cheat or lie to anyone when she is not ready.

In her view, marriage should be about being with someone you really like. She also disclosed that one thing she looks out for is “will the person live with the kids, be with the family, care for them because I did not get that in my life.”

The movie producer and entrepreneur has her new movie titled “The men we love” which will be shown on Monday, February 14, at Silver Bird Cinemas at 7pm.
