Accra Hearts of Oak veteran midfielder, Sulley Muntari, had his iPhone 12 pro max stolen moments after his side’s crunch game against rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday, at the Accra Stadium.
The 37-year-old put up an incredible performance in the Super Clash and lasted 52 minutes in the 0-0 draw with the Porcupine Warriors.
Muntari while taking pictures with fans inside the stadium premises after the game, reportedly lost his iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has confirmed the incident in an interview on Asempa FM indicating the incident happen during a photo shoot session.
“Yes, I heard of the incident. Sulley was doing a photo session with some of the fans and unfortunately, someone picked his phone from his pocket” he noted.
The former Inter Milan and AC Milan midfielder joined the Phobians at the beginning of February on a short-term deal and has since featured in three games.
