Social media influencer, Valentina Adjoa Adjeiwaa known in showbiz as ‘Afia Schwarzenegger’, has apologized to the people of Dome-Kwabenya constituency for campaigning for Sarah Adwoa Safo as their Member of Parliament.

According to the comedienne, she abandoned her ill-father as well as her children, to campaign for the legislator to win the seat but Adwoa Safo has been a disappointment so far.

In Afia Schwaneggar’s apology, she said the people of Dome-Kwabenya deserve better.

“I apologize to the people of Dome Kwabenya… pls forgive me we will do better next time”, she pleaded.

She further called for a by-election for a ‘better’ legislator to occupy the Dome-Kwabenya seat.

“Let there be a by election for the vacant seat. Oh yes, I said it the constitution makes it clear.”

Afia Schwarzenegger lambasted Adwoa Safo for allegedly keeping the Chief of Staff waiting for over half an hour, upon her return from the States and also being the reason the e-levy hasn’t been passed yet.

The member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya who doubles as the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, has missed more than 16 parliamentary sittings.

According to the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong, the MP’s absence from Parliament is due to her demands to be made the Deputy Majority leader.

Kennedy Agyapong claimed that the Chief of Staff rented a private aircraft for the legislator to return to Ghana from the USA but she refused to show up in Parliament upon returning.
