Ptotos:  First batch of Ghanaians evacuated from Ukraine arrive home

The first batch of Ghanaians who have been evacuated from Ukraine have arrived at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA), the Ministry of Information has announced.

The Ghanaians mostly students were recieved on arrival by the officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs & Regional Integration and Information.

Ghana is part of the many countries evacuating their citizens from Ukraine which has been attacked by neighbour, Russia.

The war between the two nations, which were all part of the USSR has reportedly led to the death of many and injury to several. Properties worth millions of dollars have also been destroyed in the war.
