The Head Coach of the Super Green Eagles, Nigeria, Augustine Eguavon, has named a 30-man provisional squad for the country’s Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off against Ghana later this month.

The Super Eagles were paired against the Black Stars of Ghana in a two-legged affair for a slot to FIFA men’s biggest football tournament.

They play away to Ghana at the Cape Coast Stadium in the first leg scheduled for Friday, March 25, 2022 before hosting the second leg four days later.

Among the squad is Watford star, Emmanuel Dennis, who missed the Africa Cup of Nations finals held in Cameroon earlier this year but has returned to the team while Leicester City’s Ademola Lookman has earned his maiden call-up following his nationality switch.

The goalkeepers are: Francis Uzoho, AC Omonia, Cyprus, Daniel Akpeyi, Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa, and Maduka Okoye of Sparta Rotterdam, Netherlands.
