The Captain of Ghana Premier League Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak, Fatawu Mohammed has declared his side’s readiness for the ‘President’s Cup’ tie against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Friday, March 4, 2022.

The defender admitted that though the rainbow boys have been inconsistent with their performance this season due to fatigue, they are fully prepared for the porcupine lads.

The two sides lock horns for the 2022 President’s Cup in honor of sitting President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Accra Sports Stadium at 6:00pm to commemorate Ghana’s Independence Day celebration.

Speaking ahead of the game on Wontumi TV monitored by Angelonline.com.gh, Fatawu believes the ‘never say die’ boys has what it takes to be victorious in tonight’s encounter.

“We always prepare for games like we should so we are ready for Kotoko tomorrow. Hearts and Kotoko games ain’t about only form, is a different ball game all together. It will be a difficult game but hard work will bring us the glory,” he said.

Accra Hearts of Oak goes into the match on the back of a 1-1 draw with Legon Cities in the Ghana Premier League whilst Kumasi Asante Kotoko beat Dreams FC 2-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
