Two officers allegedly involved in bullion van robberies – Police reveals

The Ghana Police Service has said its intelligence-led operations has established the involvement of two of its officers, among several other suspects for their alleged involvement in multiple robberies on bullion vans in Accra.

The said multiple robberies took place in separate operations at Kingsway, Baatsona, Jamestown and an attempted one at North Kaneshie, all in the Greater Accra Region.

The Police in a statement on Monday March 7, 2022 said “preliminary investigations have established the involvement of two policemen among a number of suspects.”

“The investigations are continuing and and we expect to soon bring all culpable people to face justice,” it added.
