Seasoned broadcaster, Nana Yaa Brefo, is urging President Nana Akufo Addo to do something about the rising cost of living in the country.

According to the co-presenter of the Anopa Bofo morning show on Angel 102.9 FM and Angel TV, it is good that the President is projecting the good image of the country abroad but he should do more to improve the standard of living.

Her comments followed the President’s address this week at the 2022 Dubai EXPO, where he impressed on investors to invest in various sectors of the Ghanaian economy.

“Talk can be cheap; you can say all the things that are happening. Oh, Ghana is peaceful; that’s true. But the dollar is going up! Fuel prices are high,” the Head of Current Affairs at Angel TV noted Wednesday, March 9, 2022.

Nana Yaa however noted that one of the ways to attract investors into the country is by improving the living standard of its citizens.

She thus urged President Akufo-Addo to put things in place to “soften the grounds” for Ghanaians.

Lauding the organisers of the Dubai EXPO 2022, the broadcaster hailed the President for showcasing Ghana to the world and wooing investors into the country, despite the current economic challenges.
