A commanding 3-0 home score line handed Ghana U-17 female national team a victory over Senegal, in the return leg of the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The win guarantee the Black maidens the needed qualification to the next stage as they post a 4-0 aggregate win over their Senegalese counterparts.

Ghana went into the game having recorded a 1-0 score line in the first leg two weeks ago in Senegal.

The Young Taranga Lionesses of Senegal started the game posing a threat from the run of lanky winger Hapsatou Malado Diallo.

Few minutes later, the Black maidens took over the game as forward Karim Abdulai had three clear cut chances but the brilliant goalkeeping display of Adji Ndiaye prevented the home side from scoring.

The first department of the game ended goalless after both teams failed to utilize their chances.
