The Black Stars have arrived in Abuja Monday afternoon for the return leg of the 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off against Nigeria on Tuesday.

The first leg of the encounter dubbed ‘Jollof derby’ produced a 0-0 score line at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi last Friday, March 25, 2022.

The fixture will come off at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium at 17:00 GMT.

In a tweet, the Ghana Football Association said the team has landed “safe and sound” in Abuja after touching down at the Abuja International Airport.

Going into the match, Black Stars head Coach, Otto Addo, is confident his side can qualify at the expense of the Nigerians observing that, their opponents are not favorites as claimed by many.

“The result doesn’t change anything. When we go there we want to win. Even though our Africa Cup of Nations was not good this year, you saw we matched Nigeria in the first leg. So, I don’t see them as favorites, the pressure will be on them at home and away goals can hurt a lot,” he said.
