Two police impersonators at Okaikoi South remanded

The two impersonators who showed up at the ongoing NPP Constituency Executive Elections in the Okaikoi South Constituency as police personnel have been remanded.

The accused persons, John Essel Baah and Enock Kwame Bosompem were arraigned on Friday, April 29, 2022 and since have been remanded.

They are however expected to reappear on May 10, 2022.

The Police, in giving updates on the matter disclosed that it has arrested one other person, Ebenezer Painstil for a similar crime.

“A third suspect, Ebenezer Painstil who was later arrested was also put before the court and has been remanded to reappear with the other accused persons on 10th May, 2022” the police stated.

The Police Service served noticed of its commitment to deliver their mandate of maintaining law and order in the country and thus urged the public to continue offering them support.
