Qatar 2022 World Cup: Kenpong Travel & Tours named official travel agent for Ghana

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has named Kenpong Travel and Tours Company, a travel agency in the country as the official travel agency for Ghana’s campaign for the upcoming Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

A statement issued by the Sports Ministry on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, said, Kenpong Travel and Tours, was chosen after careful consideration by the sector.

“As part of efforts to streamline preparations for Ghana’s participation in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the Ministry of Youth and Sports wishes to announce to the general public, particularly football fans that upon careful consideration, the Ministry has appointed Kenpong Travel and Tours Company as the official travel agent for the World Cup.

“The company will be assisting officials of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and supporters’ who wish to witness the Qatar 2022 World Cup by securing visas, airline and match tickets, travel advice and counsel, accommodation and arrangement of internal transportation in a unique package for the tournament,” it added.

The statement further urged the general public who wish to travel to watch the World Cup to contact officials of the company for their traveling needs.

Ghana qualified for its fourth FIFA World Cup tournament after overcoming Nigeria in two-legged affairs in the play-off.
