Don’t be an appendage to ruling party – Akufo-Addo to newly sworn-in IGP

Dr. George Akuffo Dampare

Founder of the Lord’s Parliament, Apostle Amoako-Atta has asked Ghanaians to commend the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare for saving Ghana from a terrorist attack.

The prophet who was full of praise for the IGP and his team of officers said that IGP Dampare is focused and proactive leader willing to redeem his nation.

He stated that a similar fate awaited Ghana just as happened in Nigeria where acts of terrorism left some 22 Catholic worshippers dead and over 50 others injured in Ondo State.

Speaking on Tuesday, June 7, on Angel FM’s Anopa Bofo Morning Show, he said “If there is anyone who deserves commendation then it is Ghana’s security forces. We must doff our hats off for IGP Dampare and his team. He has the backing of God and has an assignment to protect this nation.”

According to him, but for God’s intervention and the IGP’s proactiveness, the nation would have experienced another June 4th revolution as happened under the late Flt. Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings in 1979.

“Just like we experienced June 4th under Jerry John Rawlings, we would have experienced June 5th because the wicked people were ready. Just as they dealt with Nigeria, they wanted to do same to Ghana on that Sunday. We must clap our hands for our security apparatus. They did a yeo man’s job to avert that satanic act. It would have been a terrible thing. If you don’t know, you don’t know. If you don’t have spiritual eyes, you don’t have”

Apostle Amoako Atta further called for the retention of IGP Dampare despite man being appointed by President Akufo-Addo.
