“I am a lot better now” – Jonathan Mensah speaks

Ghana international, Jonathan Mensah has given an update on an injury he sustained during the Black Stars game against Central Africa Republic in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Sunday.

The Columbus Crew captain suffered a concussion after a head-on collission with a CAR player during the clash in Luanda, Angola.

Mensah was given emergency treatment on the pitch before being rushed to a private hospital for further treatment.

He was later discharged from the hospital after being admitted with a head injury.

On Monday, Mensah rejoined his teammates ahead of the Kirin Cup in Japan.

The experienced defender disclosed in a post that he is now feeling better and has expressed gratitude to his teammates and Ghanaians for their prayers and support.
