The Police Administration has interdicted Sergeant Isaac Nii Sowah, who was captured in uniform allegedly smoking a substance suspected to be a narcotic drug.
A statement from the service announced on Friday, June 10, 2022, that the suspect was stationed at the Accra Regional Police Command.
“The Police Administration has interdicted No. 42681 G/Sgt Isaac Nii Sowah, stationed at the Accra regional police command, was captured in uniform smoking a substance suspected to be a narcotic drug”
“Investigation is ongoing and the sergeant will be taken through the necessary disciplinary and legal action,” it continued.
The police say the suspect would be given the necessary psycho-social support in line with the new strategic police welfare policy.
