The National Chairman hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ayesu Ntim, on June 13, 2022, has filed his nomination at the party’s head office.

He was accompanied by members of his campaign team to submit his nomination forms to enable him to contest the elections.

It would be recalled that the chairman of Stephen Ntim’s Breaking the 8 campaign, Mohammed Adjei Sowah, picked the nomination forms on behalf of the aspirant.

A few days ago, a number of Greater Accra Constituency Secretaries collectively endorsed Stephen Ntim’s nomination forms.

The experienced politician has since commenced his campaign tour across the various constituencies and regions.

The NPP has opened its doors for aspiring candidates to file their nominations pending vetting which is expected to come off between June 17 and June 20, 2022.

Stephen Ntim has been tipped to win the National Chairman position.

Meanwhile, he has assured the party that all election-related internal disputes which has in the party would be resolved when he is given the nod to lead the party as the National Chairman.

“I will make sure all internal disputes in some constituencies are resolved in the first 100 days in office as National Chairman” he quoted to have said.

“For us to be able to break the 8, we need to present a united front going into the 2024 elections. A house divided against itself cannot stand, so it is imperative that we iron out all our differences,” the chairman hopeful added when he met delegates in Western Region during the regional conference.
