The Ghana Highway Authority has cautioned motorists traveling on the Cape Coast–Twifo Praso road as the bridge at Jukwa connecting the towns has been washed by floods.
The road “currently inaccessibly”, the Ministry of Roads and Highways has advised road users to use the Cape Coast-Yamoransa NI end of the road.
“Motorists traveling between Cape Coast and Twifo Praso are advised to use the Cape Coast – Yamoransa (N1)- Assin Fosu – Twifo Praso (N8) road,” it said in a statement.
The ministry noted that the Highway Authority has taken the necessary steps to ensure that the road is reinstated as soon as practicable.
