Former Ivory Coast and Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure, has earned his UEFA A-License from the Wales FA after undertaking a one-year course.

The midfielder has fully qualified to take the plunge after taking the course at the Welsh Institution last year to become a coach.

Toure has been working towards his coaching badges with Spurs’ Under-18s since December, under the supervision of academy manager, Dean Rastrick; head of coaching Chris Powell and coach Stuart Lewis while looking forward to complete the course.

Showing off his certificate on social media on Monday, he said “you never stop learning in this game.”

During 2010, the midfielder moves to Premier League side Man City for which he scored a key goal sending the team to semi-final as well as final in the 2011 FA Cup. He as well helped the City team to achieve their first League title in a row of 44 years.

Toure earned 100 caps for the Ivorian national team from 2014 to 2015 and also represented the nation at the 2006, 2010, as well as 2014 FIFA World Cup Tournaments.
