Former Black Stars midfielder, Abu Imoro best known as Tigana, has been reported dead.
The retired footballer is believed to have died on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, around 3:00 pm in Accra.
The announcement was made by the President of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), Anthony Baffoe.
The former Accra Great Olympics and Real Tamale United was integral member of the Black Stars team in the 1980s.
Abu Imoro was a close friend to Abedi Pele during their playing days.
He was nicknamed Tigana after former French footballer Juan Tigana due to his tenacity on the ball.
