Former Accra Hearts of Oak legend, Mohammed Ahmed Polo has suggested that the club finds a coach who has the pedigree for their CAF Confederations Cup campaign.

Mohammed Ahmed Polo believes the services of a technical head who can add some values to the club is needed badly.

The 2004 winners of the CAF Confederations Cup will compete in the same competition, having won the FA Cup beating Bechem United 2-1.

The Phobians who aim to restore their lost glory in Africa’s inter-club competition will begin their journey in the preliminary rounds.

Speaking to Kumasi-based Otec FM, the former Ghanaian International, Mohamed Polo urged his former side to ensure they hire a coach with a proven record to lead them in place of Samuel Boadu.

“I wish Hearts of Oak gets a coach with a track record and who can add some value to the team going into Africa because I still don’t understand why the team can’t perform with these players,” he stated.

Accra Hearts of Oak who participated both in the Caf Champions League and the Confederations Cup in the previous season failed to go past the group stages.
