A Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, has blamed the team’s inability to make the top four in the Ghana Priemier League due to indiscipline on the part of players.

According to him, the players have been smoking and drinking during matchday games.

“When I talk of indiscipline at the camp of Hearts of Oak, people always argue with me,” Dr. Tamakloe told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“But these players have been smoking and drinking before matchday games and that is the reason for our failure,” he added.

After Rainbow Club won a domestic treble last season while defending the MTN FA Cup this season, Dr. Nyaho-Nyaho Tamakloe sees phobians as a failure. To him, the players’ acts of deviance led the team not to finish up in the top four of Ghana Premier League table.

Hearts of Oak will have to represent the country with Asante Kotoko in the 2022/23 CAF Confederations Cup, having won the FA cup and the Ghana Premier League respectively.
