NPP National Executive Elections: Delegates decide who wins what

NPP bans open support for contestants ahead of National Delegates Conference

The National Delegates Conference of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) is scheduled this weekend to elect its national executives to steer the affairs of the party in the next four years.

The conference which kick started Friday, July 15, 2022, and will end on Sunday, July 17, at the Accra Sports Stadium, is being held under the theme “Holding together, working together”.

Over 40 aspirants are contesting for eight positions at the national level.

They are the Chairmanship, General Secretary, Women’s Organizer, National Organizer, National Nasara Coordinator and National Treasurer.

The rest are the National Youth Organizer  and the 1st and 2nd Vice chairperson position.

With the aforementioned positions, a total of 6,730 delegates from various constituencies across the country are expected to take part in the voting process at 20 polling centers at the venue.
