Kumasi Asante Kotoko top midfielder Mudasiru Salifu has completed a move to Moldovan powerhouse FC Sheriff Tiraspol.

His move becomes official following impressive trials he had at the club with two other teammates namely Richard Boadu and Andrews Appau.

The 25-year-old then signed a contract with FC Sheriff where he is expected to make an impact in the club’s title defence next season.

The Moldovan club thus announced the capture of the Ghanaian International via their official Twitter account.

“FC Sheriff staff is pleased to welcome Mudasiru Salifu and wishes him success in our club’s yellow and black shirt.”

He joins former Kotoko teammate Razak Abalora and a host of other Ghanaian players at the club.

Mudasiru Salifu was an integral member of the Kumasi Asante Kotoko team squad that won the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title. He featured 28 times in all competitions scoring two goals.
