The Head Coach of the Black Galaxies, Annor Walker, has named Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder, Gladson Awako as captain to lead the side.
He will be assisted by Medeama SC defender, Vincente Atingah and Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s left-back Ibrahim Imoro as 1st and 2nd vice captains respectively.
The appointment became crucial for the technical handlers of the Black Galaxies team whiles they prepare to face Benin in the first leg of the Championship of African Nations Cup (CHAN) qualifiers on July 24, 2022, at the Cape Coast Stadium.
“Earlier today we appointed Gladson Awako as captain and he will be assisted by Vincente Atingah and Ibrahim Imoro.
“I urged all players to give them the necessary support to help us achieve success in our upcoming qualifiers,” Coach Annor Walker told GFA’s Communication team.
