Official: Accra Hearts of Oak part ways with six key players

Ghana Premier League heavyweight, Accra Hearts of Oak have parted ways with six players including midfield kingpin, Frederick Ansah Botchway.

The other players included Patrick Razak, Larry Sumaila, Manaf Umar, William Dankyi and Kofi Kordzi.

According to a statement on the club’s official Twitter handle, it decided not to renew the contracts of Patrick Razak, Larry Sumaila, and Manaf Umar.

“Accra Hearts of Oak has officially notified Kofi Kordzi and Ansah Botchway that they are surplus to requirement. Both parties are in the process to mutually terminate their contracts.”

“Meanwhile, the club has also informed Patrick Razak, William Dankyi, Larry Sumaila Ibrahim, and Manaf Umar that their contracts will not be renewed,” it noticed.

The statement also wished them the very best of luck in their next chapter as they seek to find new homes.

“We wish to thank them for their services during their stay with the club and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.”
