The Head Coach of the Black Princesses of Ghana, Ben Fokuo, has expressed his side’s readiness as they come up against Les Bleuets of France in a pre-World Cup friendly match.

The game is scheduled for Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Complexe Sportif a Clairefontaire -en- Yvelines at 6:00 GMT.

The game forms part of their preparations ahead of the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Costa Rica 2022.

The team departed from Accra in the early hours of Wednesday, July 27, and arrived at the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris in the evening with twenty-three players.

Ahead of today’s match, the team had their first training session on Thursday afternoon where there was no injury at camp.

Speaking to GFA’s communication team ahead of the game, Coach Ben Fokuo said his side is eager and ever-ready for the clash because every single player is fully prepared.

He added that the game is “very important because France is a high-level team and we see this match as important as the matches against our opponent in the World Cup”.
