The police in Techiman have arrested five persons for their alleged involvement in an attack at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) regional office in the Bono East Region.
The arrested suspects are Kojo Agyei alias Kojo Cocaine, Illiasu Sulemana aka Oboot, Andrew Kemire, Fatau Abdallah, and Alhaji Nuhu.
A police statement said their alleged involvement occurred on Thursday, July 28, 2022, when they reportedly attacked the party office following a misunderstanding.
In the process, the sliding windows of the party office and a vehicle that was parked at the office were vandalised, the statement added.
One person sustained multiple knife wounds and is currently on admission at the Techiman Government Hospital.
The suspects will be put before the court, Today, August 1, 2022, to face the law.
The police used the opportunity to urge the general public to choose dialogue over violence to resolve their differences since they will not hesitate to apply the law to whoever is found guilty.
