A women’s health advocate Elizabeth Amoaa, is set to launch her book on the reproductive health of women this year.

The book, titled “The Unspoken Identity,” details the life experiences of a woman born with two wombs, two cervixes and two vagina canals and other reproductive health disorders.

It is powered by Rotary Club of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.

“The Unspoken Identity” whose launch is scheduled for later this year comes with a fundraiser aimed at soliciting funds for the delivery of essential medical care for women with reproductive health issues and to combat menstrual poverty.

“These issues affect many women and young girls globally, especially in Ghana where there seems to be a lack of access to early medical intervention and appropriate treatment,” said Maame Adjoa Cann Peprah, the Public Relations Officer of Speciallady Awareness, which is Ms Amoaa’s advocacy group.

“Thus, proceeds obtained from auctioning of the books, paintings etc will be donated to healthcare units in Accra and Kumasi.”

To this end, Speciallady Awareness cordially invites all and sundry to be a part of the organization`s book launch and fundraising event.
