A bus belonging to the University of Education Winneba (UEW) has crushed a Pastor of Christ Apostolic Church to death at Ajumako Techiman in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam District of the Central Region.
According to Angel News sources, the pastor and the church members numbering about seven were returning from Church in a tricycle around 11:00 PM when the accident occurred.
Some eyewitnesses claimed that the driver of the bus with registration number GS-9322-10 was drunk because he was smelling alcohol when they got closer to him.
Six others including the driver of the bus sustained various degrees of injuries and are receiving treatment at the Ajumako Government Hospital.
The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Saltpond Hospital Mortuary.
Meanwhile, the case which has been reported to the Ajumako Police Command, is currently under investigation.
