Former Health Minister dies at 64

A former Health Minister under the Jerry John Rawlings administration, Dr Samuel Nuamah Donkor, has passed on.

He died aged 64. The cause of his death is unknown but he is reported to have died on Sunday while receiving medical attention in the United Kingdom.

Dr Nuamah who was a former legislator who represented the people of New Juaben North Constituency in the first Parliament of the 4th Republic, was born at Asokore-Koforidua in the Eastern Region.

Also a former Ashanti Regional Minister, he is survived by a wife, Irene Nuamah Donkor and five children.

Meanwhile many having received the sad news, have taken to their social media pages to commiserate with the bereaved family and the party.
