The porcupine on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, announced five new captains to lead the club ahead of the new season of which Richard Boadu has been named the substantive captain and will be deputised by Yusif Mubarik and Danlad Ibrahim as the first and second captains respectively.

Right back, Christopher Nettey and Cameroonian goalkeeper Pouaty Dendoum will serve as the third and fourth deputies as well.
