Top Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall artiste, Emmanuel Andrews Samini known as Samini is expected to be sworn in as the president of the Students Representative Council (SRC) of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
The swearing-in ceremony is expected to take place at the Executive Conference Centre, GIMPA main campus, Greenhill in Accra at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 23, 2022.
He will be sworn in alongside his Vice president, Mabel Yawa Mensah. Other executives to be sworn in are Vincentia Z Opponwa and Ruth Yayra Agbeehia as secretary.
Also, Sandra Dobil takes the positions of Treasurer and Women’s Commissioner.
The inauguration will see the newly elected executives steer the affairs of the student for the 2022/2023 academic year.
The award-winning musician became the SRC president-elect on Wednesday, 22 June 2022 after he polled 307 votes against his main contender, Theophilus Quartey, who polled 212 of the total votes cast.
