President Akufo-Addo tours Central Region today

President Akufo-Addo begins his Central region tour Friday, September 2, 2022

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo will begin his two-day tour of the Central Region Friday, September 02, 2022.

He will inspect the Court Complex project ongoing at Kasoa in the Awutu Senya East District, where the tour officially starts.

He will also cut sod for the construction of Kasoa to Awutu Bawjiase road before proceeding to commission a Gas Cylinder Factory under the 1D1F at Awutu Chochoe.

He is also scheduled to inspect ongoing Agenda 111 projects at Gomoa Afransi in the Gomoa Central District.

As part of the tour, the President will also inspect the Komenda Sugar Factory in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo Abrem Municipality.

The team will further pay a courtesy call to the Chief of Elmina amidst inspecting an ongoing Construction of a Fishing Harbour in the area.

On Saturday, September 3, 2022, he will pay a courtesy call on the Chief of Komenda.

President Akufo-Addo is expected to commission the Central Regional House of Chiefs Building at Cape Coast.

Meanwhile, he will join the Chiefs and people of the Oguaa Traditional Area on Saturday, where he’ll grace a grand durbar to climax the year’s ongoing Oguaa Fetu Festival.
