Former President John Agyekum Kuffour has praised the late Queen Elizabeth II, for her humaneness and humility.

Sharing fond memories of the longest serving monarch on Angel FM’s Anopa Bofo Morning Show, Mr. Kuffour narrated that he had encountered the Queen on a number of occasions.

“I met her quite a few times especially at the Commonwealth meetings…one in Australia, then another at Kampala in Uganda”, he told Nana Yaa Brefo during the interview.

The Statesman, who was speaking on Ghana’s relationship with the British Crown and the benefits of that association, recounted that he visited Queen Elizabeth II upon her request during a working visit in 2007.

“You would expect her to be proud but she makes you feel relaxed.

“She is a good person with humility [despite her power and fame] and I was happy about that,” he stated.
