Brazil handed the Black Stars of Ghana a reality check defeating them 3-0 in a highly entertaining international friendly at the Stade Oceane – Le Havre in France.

With both sides meeting for the fifth time the display of the Samba football was set in motion in the 9th minute when Marquinhos opened the scoring.

This was when the PSG man had headed a Raphinha corner into the net after a miscalculation from goalkeeper Jojo Wollacot.

Nineteen minutes later in the 28th minute, Richardlison doubled the lead with a superb one-touch finish from a pass from starman Neymar da Silva Junior.

Richardlison scored twice to hand Brazil a commanding victory over Ghana

Richardlison, the Tottenham Hotspur forward gave the Brazilian a photo finish in the first half with the third goal from a world-class header to connect a well-rehearsed free kick in the 40th minute.

A long spell of possession propelled the South American powerhouse to control the remaining minutes ending the first half 3-0.

Back from recess, both coaches, Tite and Otto Addo made some tactical changes to their sides introducing fresh legs into the game.

However, the second 45 minutes failed to produce a goal despite both teams showing glimpses of scoring in the attacking third.

The game thus ended 3-0 in Brazil’s favour to prove their supremacy over the Ghanaian side.

It also means the Selecao extended their winning streak to 14 games with the convincing victory, having last tasted defeat to Argentina in the Copa America finals back in July 2021.
