President Nana Akufo-Addo is always served with false information by his advisers and other appointees on his performance, the founder and leader of the Liberal People’s Party (LPG), Percival Kofi Akpaloo has said.

Speaking on Angel FM/TV’s Anɔpa Bɔfoɔ Morning Show on Tuesday, Mr Akpaloo opined that the handlers of the President are failing to present the reality on the ground to him so he can appreciate the suffering of Ghanaians.

According to him, President Akufo-Addo is suffering from same deception syndrome which John Mahama suffered when he ruled Ghana from 2012 to 2016.

According to him, some handlers of the first gentleman always move in and ensure that the grounds are well prepared before the President gets to the grounds anytime he is on tour.

“Persons who know they should have completed projects almost two years prior to his arrival quickly move in and complete those roads so that the President will think all is well when he arrives in the area.

“They intentionally travel on a tarred road with the President and show him nice areas for the President to think all is well…they did same thing to John Mahama. He was either flown or made to use good roads during his numerous trips to the regions,” he said.

These actions and inactions of the handlers of the President, he added, has made the President think all is well with the governed ‘but this is not true’.

He therefore called on the first gentleman of the land to sit up and put his house in order because Ghanaian are unahppy with his performance.

“I have experienced it first hand after going down to woo people to join our political party, people will tell you point blank that they are fed up with the NPP and NDC, some have even decided not to vote again…,” he added.
