The Greater Accra Regional Police has arrested the founder and leader of the Heavenway Church, Patricia Asiedua formerly known as Nana Agradaa for allegedly scamming members of her church of various sums.

She was arrested following complaints by members of the church for extorting various amounts of money from them and promising to double the amounts.

The once dreaded fetish priestess failed to do so after an all night service.

“Anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action to assist the investigation,” the Police said in a statement on Sunday October 8.

The Police, in the early hours of Sunday October 8, announced that they have commenced an investigation into alleged money doubling scam allegedly perpetuated against some members of the Church by Nana Agradaa.

The investigation was initiated following reports that have come to the attention of the Police on the matter.

Scores of church members were captured in video that circulated on social media explaining how they were allegedly duped.
