Former President John Dramani Mahama on Saturday, October 15, 2022, joined a host of Heads of State on the continent at the 10th Tana Forum in Bahir Dar.
The 10th Tana Forum, which started on Friday, was officially opened by Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
The forum saw other dignitaries such as the President of Sudan, the Prime Minister of Somali, and the Vice President of Uganda.
The Tana Forum, represented by the baobab tree, is emblematic of sitting together, talking together, and discussing together.
Since its inception in 2012, the Tana Forum has afforded frank and candid discussions on topical issues of regional and global relevance. It will continue to do so in the years ahead.
Mr. Mahama used the medium and wished everyone for their contribution to make the year’s edition a successful one.
“This year, we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Tana Forum, and I would like to congratulate everyone for making the Tana Forum a resounding success story where ideas, solutions, and networking are pollinated.”
