A tragic and horrifying incident unfolded in Adum Dominase, a community in the Mpohor District of the Western Region, where a mortician was burned alive by an enraged mob following allegations of ritual murders.

The mortician, popularly known as Uncle Jay was reportedly began behaving abnormally in public, drawing the attention of residents.

His erratic actions and cryptic remarks sparked suspicion that he was involved in a series of mysterious deaths and disappearances within the community.

The situation reached a boiling point when a young girl Diana, missing for two days, was discovered dead in a horrifying state.

Diana’s body had been mutilated, with some parts missing, and was left abandoned in the community town hall.

The discovery plunged the community into anger and fear, with many believing the mortician to be behind her death and possibly others.

Reports indicate that the man, while being confronted by the mob, allegedly confessed to killing the young girl and engaging in ritual practices involving the removal of body parts.

Residents claimed this was not the first time such unexplained deaths had occurred in the area, further fueling their rage.

Acting in the heat of the moment, the mob decided to take matters into their own hands, capturing the mortician and setting him ablaze before law enforcement could intervene.

The incident has left the Dominase community in shock, with residents calling for heightened security and swift action from law enforcement to restore a sense of safety.

Community leaders are also urging calm and caution, encouraging residents to report suspicious activities to the police rather than resorting to violence.
