About 29 suspects have been arrested by the police for their alleged involvement in a violent clash between two factions at New Tulaku, Ashaiman, in the Greater Accra Region.
Reports indicate the incident occurred in the early hours of Friday, October 28, 2022.
The incident which happened at the New Tulaku meat market in Ashiaman has left six people sustaining various degrees of injuries.
According to a police statement, the injured are currently receiving medical attention at the hospital.
They are “all in stable condition, according to the medical authorities,” the police noted.
The police added that calm has been restored amidst security presence at Ashaiman and its environs to prevent unforeseen circumstances.
Whiles investigation continues, the police have assured that “all those involved will be brought to justice.”
