2022 GMB winner splashes social media with birthday pictures

The winner for the 2022 edition of Ghana’s Most Beautiful 2022, Tung Teiga Dahamani, got social media users talking with her colorful African prints as she turned a year older on Friday, November 18, 2022.

Teiga as she is popularly known, was a representative from the northern region. Her performances in the beauty contest was marvelous and got the attention of her fans.

Her qualities of excellent presentations, performances, smartness, humility and a high fashion sense, contributed to her triumph.

Teiga who was thankful to God for adding another year to her life, made her opt for an old print locally known as “dua kor ngye mframa”, styled in an off- shoulder fitting dress with petals of white on her shoulder, to rock the print and her outfit.

Expressing her gratitude, she wrote “+1 and grateful. This year has been unimaginable for me. It’s been a roller coaster but in all, God gloried himself to me. I’m just grateful. This year no wishes just do you, God a glorious happy birthday to meeeee.”

Some social media users who commented on her post prayed to God to bless and elevate her in life.

Tung Teiga Dahamani crowned as the winner of the 2022 GMB in October beat off competition from Oti Region’s Aiko Adade (1st runner-up) and Central Region’s Asiedua Afanyi Arhin (2nd runner-up).

She garnered the most votes on the night, raking a total of 32%, and was closely followed by Aiko Adade, who got 24.15%, whiles Aseidua could not manage 16.8% of the total valid votes.

Eastern Region’s Amoani took fourth place, while Xornam from the Volta Region placed fifth.

Teiya took home a GHC10,000 cash prize, one year’s supply of GTP fabric, and an all-expenses-paid international trip, among other products from sponsors.
