Samuel Boadu appointed new Ghana U-20 coach

Former Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has been appointed as the new coach of the Black Satellites team.

According to a communique from the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Boadu takes over Abdul Karim Zito to lead the U-20 men’s team.

The former Accra Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC trainer was in the helm of affairs when the phobians won the Ghana Premier League title and back-to-back MTN FA Cup titles in the 2020 and 21 seasons respectively.

He will be assisted by Desmond Offei who holds a UEFA A Licensed Certificate with Salifu Fatawu, a former Tanga and Swedru All Blacks gaffer also serving as a second assistant.

He was part of the Ghana coaches at the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament in Qatar.

Meanwhile, ex-Black Stars goalkeeper Fatawu Daudu will serve as the goalkeepers coach.

The task for the newly constitute technical team is to lead the Ghanaian side for the 2023 African games scheduled for Accra in August.
