NDC bans wearing of campaign T-shirts at congress grounds

Members of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been banned from donning T-Shirts of candidates at the upcoming national congress slated for the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, December 17, 2022.

A directive from the Planning Committee of the NDC ahead of the exercise, says the wearing of attire affiliated to candidature is prohibited on the dee day.

“No delegates will be allowed inside the stadium who is wearing campaign T-Shirt or adorned with the campaign paraphernalia of any of the contesting candidates,” the NDC said in a statement.

It also directed all aspirants to be measured in the placement of banners and posters which must not exceed in size of 3 feet by 6 feet or 5 feet by 5 feet.

“No candidate will be allowed to post more than 10 such campaign materials in and around the congress ground. All posters and banner must be posted or hung from Friday, December 16, 2022, and removed immediately after the event,” the directive stated.
